Iron (Fe)
This screening evaluates iron levels to support assessment of iron status and red blood cell production. Abnormal iron levels may be associated with iron deficiency, anaemia, chronic disease, or iron overload conditions.
TIBC
This screening evaluates total iron-binding capacity (TIBC) levels to support assessment of iron transport and iron status. Abnormal TIBC levels may help identify iron deficiency, anaemia, chronic disease, or iron overload conditions.
% Saturation
This screening evaluates transferrin saturation levels to support assessment of iron availability and utilisation. Abnormal saturation levels may be associated with iron deficiency, anaemia, or iron overload conditions.
Ferritin
