EWMA 2023 Milan: Advancing Wound Care Through Global Knowledge Sharing
On 13 May 2023, our advanced wound care team participated in EWMA 2023, one of Europe’s leading international conferences dedicated to wound management and tissue repair. The conference brought together wound care specialists, clinicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals from around the world to exchange clinical experiences, discuss emerging wound care strategies, and explore the latest advancements in modern wound management.
During the conference, Dr. Sreedharan Muniandy represented our clinical sharing session by presenting a case series on immersion techniques for treating diabetic foot ulcers using electro-activated superoxidized water. The presentation focused on practical wound care management, infection control approaches, and real-world clinical experiences in handling difficult-to-heal diabetic wounds and complex wound cases.
Sharing Practical Clinical Experience In Wound Management

The session highlighted the importance of:

- Proper infection control in chronic wound management
- Evidence-based wound care strategies for diabetic foot ulcers
- Limb preservation and reducing complications associated with chronic wounds
